Summary of Stream

We started our stream by having a short intermission as we prepared our Google Meet gathering to ready our speakers for the podcast, the layouts that will be used, and the background music. Once we were ready to start, we did a 10-second countdown in our call via Google Meet chat box so that it wouldn't be heard by viewers. As our podcast speakers started, we switched through the layout in our OBS (stream recording software) where it would show our Google Meet call.

As the stream podcast goes, we even also asked the viewers for feedback on our stream, they said that the stream is smooth as our internet connection was stable. We appreciated the viewers’ cooperation and activeness during our thoughts and Q&A session, their participation filled our live chat due to our topic that is very relatable for the viewers. The stream was interactive for both our team and the viewers.

As we rolled out the end credits of our livestream, we advertised our poster where there are QR codes and links to scan for our viewers to follow our facebook page.

Strengths of Our Stream

We have prepared and discussed our plan that we were going to use for our livestream. Our speakers have their script that they will be using for the podcast so that they make themselves ready for speaking. Also the engagement of the participants by giving their own thoughts and answers for our stream have carried our livestream since most of the parts of the livestream were requiring the contribution of the participants.

The stream outline we used was connected to the theme of our website, we decided to have the same color and the vibrance of the stream outline almost identical so that the viewers will be able to acknowledge us. We used the Canva website to make our stream outlines.

By the use of our chosen stream recording software (OBS Studio) we were also able to have a clean output where we put our stream outlines. It made the transition of our livestream smooth and also the control of the audio volume (background music)

Areas of Opportunities for Our Stream

Since the overall livestream’s audio output and video quality has no issues at all, the only room for improvement that we can probably improve is the viewership of our livestream since we know that we can get more viewers than the recent amount from our previous stream.

We believe that the reason behind this was because of the chosen schedule because during the day of our livestream other people have also started their live streaming as well, so we were pretty lucky that we were able to manage to gain viewers.

Analysis of the Engagement of Our Viewers

During the livestream, our viewers showed amazing engagement, actively participating and interacting with us in real-time. Despite our audience size being relatively modest, the level of participation was truly impressive. We received a huge influx of feedback and contributions, with a staggering number of at least 200 live comments pouring in throughout the duration of the livestream.

The level of engagement shown by our viewers exceeded our initial expectations by a large margin. Their enthusiastic participation not only added depth to the livestream but also underscored the importance of fostering a dynamic and interactive community within our platfor

Analysis of the Viewership of Our Stream

Despite the delayed advertising of our Facebook page leading up to the livestream, the viewership for our inaugural event was promising. We observed an average of more than 10 viewers tuning in, accompanied by the establishment of an emerging community with 30 followers on our page. Despite the initial challenges caused by the delayed promotion, the level of engagement and interest shown by our livestream viewers has far exceeded our expectations. Their active participation and support served as a testament to the potential growth and impact of our platform, even in the face of logistical obstacles.
